The Connoisseur Concerto (tcc) has unveiled a unique new concept shop that combines gourmet cuisine and beverages with flair. At Great World, tcc art boutique caffè has just opened. They used to be in the office building, but have now relocated at #01-119 in the mall.
The interior is likewise distinct from the other tcc locations, with pastel-hued furnishings and golden trimmings for a contemporary, pleasant feel. Aside from flavor, the kitchen crew has worked hard to ensure that the foods on offer are presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner. That’s short for “instagrammable.

Two renowned Osaka F&B brands, RAMEN KIOU and ROMAN.TEI, have established their first-ever Singapore branches at &JOY Dining Hall for beef bowl and tomato ramen fans. Fresh sashimi is also air-flown from Osaka’s fish market to Singapore (thrice a week), and the price is at least 30% less than in a typical restaurant setting.
&JOY Dining Hall first debuted in Jurong Point, with a second site opening this year in the rebuilt Great World basement.
The multi-brand idea brings together a variety of unique Japanese dishes in one location. &JOY Dining Hall also offers delivery, takeout, a retail grocery shop, and a bakery in addition to dine-in options.

Those who miss Ginza Anzu, which was previously located at Wisma Atria’s Japan Food Town, will be pleased to learn that the tonkatsu expert has reopened at the rebuilt Great World.
Ginza Anzu is a Kyushu-based farm-to-table concept restaurant known for its Tonkatsu – a Japanese dish of breaded, deep-fried meat, usually a pig cutlet.
Their tonkatsu meals are noted for being made with fresh ingredients primarily imported from Kyushu, with pork obtained from the United States and Canada. I’m not sure how their deep-fried things would hold up after dabao, but Anzu does provide islandwide delivery for $5, which is available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

After eating a lot of Korean Fried Chicken in Singapore, I came across a popular oil-free oven-roasted chicken brand that piqued my interest. Really? That has to be a healthy-tasting dish.
Goobne Chicken, one of Korea’s most popular oven-roasted chicken brands, has debuted in Singapore at the remodeled Great World (formerly known as “Great World City”).
EXO, a Korean celebrity group, has previously supported the brand. Goobne is known for not using any oil during the cooking process, resulting in lower transfat, carbs, salt, and calorie levels.
So, after roasting the chicken, there should be a crunchy exterior layer with juicy meat.

Dark Chocolate Soufflé, Signature Dark Chocolate Cake, Very Dark Chocolate Milkshake, and High Tea with Chocolates, to name a few. The Dark Gallery is Singapore’s first dark chocolate-centric café and boutique concept, pioneering the creation of handmade dark chocolate treats.
It debuted its first triple concept in the recently renovated Great World, which is well worth a visit. Salon by The Dark Gallery is an extension of the brand’s ideology, with a dedicated dine-in salon, café, and retail space.
There is a large eating room for a relaxed day out, a takeaway counter and sit-down cafe area for a quick coffee or ice cream, and a shop section for Ice Cream Cakes, Single Origin Chocolate Tablets, Bonbons, and Macarons, all of which are welcomed. Customers have demanded more brunch food, so Brand Chef Kimberly Tan has created a new dine-in menu with exclusive plated desserts and savoury meals.

When it comes to Peranakan cuisine in Singapore, which is a type of culinary art in itself, the popular Blue Ginger has long been regarded as one of the city’s most well-known eateries. It’s a great way to introduce international visitors to Peranakan cuisine, which is a unique combination of Chinese and Malay elements famed for its fiery and sour flavors.
It drew even more notice when it was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand designation, which it still holds. The restaurant was founded by a group of friends who intended to create a welcoming and personal environment where guests could enjoy a convivial dining experience while enjoying great Peranakan cuisine, which was largely produced at home and shared among family at the time.
