When you have Korean and European-style bakes, cakes, sweets, and all-day breakfast, all of which are the hottest things in town, you’re nearly guaranteed to succeed.

Most people come to JEM to taste the Scrambled Egg Brioche Brunch and gorgeous looking pastries from the Korean brand Paris Baguette, which is certainly one of the busiest cafés.

However, the cost is not attractive.

Tsui Wah has established a third location in Jem, which will please West-siders. For the uninitiated, Tsui Wah is a well-known Hong Kong cha chaan teng well renowned for their condensed milk buns. This new outlet will be positioned where the fashion boutique Stradivarius used to be at the Jurong East mall.

This is good news for Tsui Wah aficionados who want to eat somewhere other than their Clarke Quay flagship, as the chain’s second location at The Heeren is still closed due to lease issues. Furthermore, it joins A&W’s arrival at Jurong Point and Pasar Malam Corner near JCube on the list of new dining options for West-side eaters.

Tteokbokki must be one of Korea’s most popular street foods, and seeing it so frequently in K-dramas only adds to your need for it. These Korean rice cakes, on the other hand, may not be readily accessible at Singapore Korean restaurants, particularly in portions more suitable for individuals and small groups. Nipong Naepong, a Jjamppong speciality restaurant known for its distinctive fusion versions of the Korean-Chinese seafood noodles soup dish, has launched a new Tteokbokki collection including four interesting flavors.

Nipong Naepong, which means ‘your ppong, mine ppong’ in Korean, offers a dynamic menu of fusion Jjamppong (ranging from soupy, creamy, to dry), Iron-Plate Rice, Korean-style Risotto, thin tortilla Pizzas, and drinks.
